Users first select a meeting time, click “Select and Continue,” and then complete the intake form, where they provide a phone number and affirmatively consent to communications.
Message frequency varies. Message and data rates may apply. You may opt out of text messages at any time by replying STOP. For help, reply HELP or contact us at admin@startlifestrong.com. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Text messaging originator opt-in data and consent will not be shared with any third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. We may share such information only with service providers that help us deliver messaging services.
5. Communications Involving Students Under 18
Our services frequently involve students, including students under 18. If a parent or legal guardian submits information for a student under 18, that person represents that they are authorized to provide the information and consent to communications as applicable.
We may communicate with both the parent/guardian and the student regarding scheduling, reminders, participation, deadlines, questions, and service-related matters when authorized through the consultation, intake, or client relationship process. This is consistent with the structure of our counseling services and agreements.
6. Confidentiality and Application Materials
We use reasonable care to keep student personal information and application-related materials confidential.
We will not publicly share a student’s name, likeness, essays, application materials, or admissions results without express written consent.
We will not use a student’s essays or identifiable application materials for AI/model training or as sample materials without separate written consent. This is consistent with the confidentiality and data-use approach in our service agreements.
7. Shared Folders, Documents, and Service Platforms
For purposes of providing services, we may access, view, review, comment on, store, process, manage, and transmit information that is uploaded to, stored in, linked through, or shared with us through business systems used to provide services.
This may include shared folders, cloud storage, scheduling systems, communication tools, workflow tools, CRM systems, database tools, messaging providers, payment processors, email tools, document platforms, and similar ordinary business technologies.
Any materials placed in shared folders, intake systems, or related platforms may be reviewed by us in connection with providing services.
8. How We Share Information
We do not sell personal information.
We may share information with trusted vendors and service providers that help us operate our business and deliver services, such as providers for:

However, unless otherwise authorized, we do not intend to share the substantive contents of a student’s essay drafts with a parent without the student’s consent, except as reasonably necessary to protect safety, comply with law, or enforce our agreements. This reflects the approach used in our service agreements.
10. Deidentified and Aggregated Information
We may retain and use deidentified or aggregated information for legitimate internal business purposes, including:
- recordkeeping;
- service improvement;
- admissions benchmarking;
- advising-related analysis;
- trend analysis; and
- business planning.
This may include deidentified or aggregated information such as school type, academic profile categories, extracurricular categories, application patterns, admissions decisions, and similar application-related outcome data, provided that the information is not reasonably linked to an identifiable student.
We may also share such deidentified or aggregated information with trusted professional collaborators, including other college counselors participating in benchmarking or data-sharing efforts, so long as the information is not publicly disclosed in identifiable form. This is consistent with the structure of your signed program agreement.
11. Data Access, Correction, and Deletion Requests
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information by contacting us at admin@startlifestrong.com
We will review and respond to requests in accordance with applicable law, our recordkeeping obligations, and our legitimate business needs. In some cases, we may retain certain information as required or permitted by law, contract, recordkeeping needs, dispute resolution, payment records, or enforcement purposes.
